Jack's 2012-2013 school year

Since my last post was about school being out for summer, I thought I would upload some of my favorite pictures from the school year that the teacher took for us.

Jack loved being the superstar.  Every day the teacher would pick a child to be the superstar and they got to lead the class outside, sit in the special superstar chair and be first to snack.  One funny story about being the superstar:  Mrs. Smith would not just tell the kids who the superstar was each day but make them guess. She would give them clues; the superstar is a boy, he is wearing a green shirt, etc.  Well, one day, she said the superstar is wearing a horsie on his shirt.  As you can see by the pictures, there aren't many days that go by without a horsie on Jack's shirt.  My grandmother loves polo and so he has a lot of horsies;)  I digress....anyway, when the teacher said there is a horsie on his shirt, all the kids looked at Jack and Jack said I am the superstar.  From that day forward, Jack ALWAYS wanted to wear a horsie because he thought he would picked as the superstar.

Sophie and Jack are really growing!! The story about Jack telling Carl all his birthday presents was so cute. :) And you look amazing (in the one picture you're in, haha)!! Love you guys!!
