The Week Before Christmas

Well, it is the week before Christmas, and we have been awful busy.  The holidays are always hectic but this year is especially busy.  Besides the normal shopping and preparation, Carl and I have been able to take Jack to the kids' events. We went to the Festival of Trees, and saw over 40 decorated Christmas trees.  Jack got to sit on Santa's lap.
 

Last week, we had our baby yoga Christmas party, where we did yoga to the "Night Before Christmas."   Jack is the only boy in the class, and is surrounded by all his ladies!  

This week, Jack is five months and three weeks.  We transitioned from cereal to bananas, and he couldn't be happier!  He is sitting up better, and his new favorite discovery is the empty aquafina bottles...he loves to hear them crunch.

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of both our family and Santa!  Jack is being baptized the day after Christmas, and I think it will be magical having the family in town to share in this with us.
