With this being an Easter baby, I have taken the opportunity (or excuse as some may call it) to purchase lots of fun toys for our little guy. What better way to distract him and avoid sending all of our out of town guests to the museums and zoos?!?! Lucky for us, I have been blessed to find amazing deals with lots of neighbors giving away big items like toddler basketball hoops, a huge kids kitchen, and our $600 playground that I got for $120. Carl was SO proud of me!!! Plus, we got lots of little car garages and other fun fisher price little people stuff. I am not normally very "thrifty" but Jack doesn't really appreciate the box the item came in so this is how I rationalized all of my semi-used but new looking items.
Most of the toys are in hiding, and I will slowly give them to him. He will receive some from the Easter bunny, and others as we face meltdowns during the first few months.
Here are some videos of Jack with his new climber:
An update on baby: the doctors think she could come any day now!!! I am being induced on April 2nd, and we are hoping she holds out until then. We have a plan in place, in case she comes early. Our little girl will be here soon, and we are so excited to meet her!
